West Herts Hospitals Charity and our Patron, the Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Robert Voss CBE CStJ, warmly invite you to a magical evening of festive celebration.

Gather with us in the beautiful surroundings of St Albans Cathedral for an evening of festive carols, music, and seasonal readings.

Event Highlights

• Special Guest Address: A festive message from our Patron, Robert Voss CBE CStJ, Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire.

• Uplifting Choral Performances: Festive selections from local musical groups, including:

  • NHS Connect Choir and Community Choir

  • Classical Chorus

  • St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Choir

  • The Reach Free School Choir

• NHS Staff Readings: Inspiring seasonal readings presented by our dedicated NHS staff.

All proceeds directly support patients and staff at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

• BabyWorks Ultrasound Simulator: Advanced training technology that enables clinical teams to practise complex neonatal and paediatric ultrasound scans in a safe, simulated environment.

• Paediatric MRI Entertainment System: Audiovisual distraction technology designed to help children feel relaxed during MRI scans, reducing anxiety and minimising the need for sedation.

• Watford General Hospital UTC Enhancement: Targeted improvements to the paediatric area at Watford General Hospital Urgent Treatment Centre, creating a more welcoming, comforting environment for young patients.
