We’re on a mission to create a dedicated wellbeing room at St Albans City Hospital, a space where hardworking NHS staff can recharge, relax and feel appreciated for their incredible efforts.
Healthcare professionals often work long hours under immense pressure. A dedicated space for relaxation and mental wellness can significantly improve morale, resilience and overall well-being. This is our way of showing appreciation for their undoubtable commitment to serving our community.

We aim to create a thoughtfully designed wellbeing room equipped with:
Thanks to a generous match funder, every £1 you donate will be doubled up to £20,000. Additional funds will be used for further staff wellbeing initiatives across West Herts Hospitals.
A dedicated wellbeing space is about more than just providing a place to sit – it’s about fostering a supportive environment for our hardworking NHS staff. With a space to relax and recharge, we’ll see reduced stress levels. Comfortable facilities also encourage collaboration and informal interactions, strengthening team bonds across departments.
