30th Anniversary Festive Gala Dinner
West Herts Hospitals Charity invites you to our inaugural Festive Gala Dinner at The Grove Hotel on Wednesday 10 December 2025. This special evening marks our 30th anniversary and is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our collective impact on the community.
Join us for a special evening of celebration, raising vital funds to support West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
The Evening’s Highlights
The evening will begin with a drinks reception at 7:15 pm, followed by a three-course dinner. We are honoured to be joined by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Robert Voss CBE CStJ.
Guests will enjoy a series of inspiring short films showcasing our work, along with performances by:
- Electric Umbrella’s Big Yellow Choir (as seen on Britain’s Got Talent)
- Opera Soprano Alexandra Bell-Cobbold
The evening will also feature an exclusive Auction and Appeal, where your generosity will help us deliver transformative projects for local patients and families.
Caring For Generations Appeal
Your support will help us deliver on our Caring For Generations Appeal through vital projects that go above and beyond NHS funding, including:
- An urgently needed heart ultrasound machine for children, enabling earlier detection of serious heart defects and ensuring timely, life-saving treatment.
- Refurbished cubicles for children being treated for serious illnesses, including cancer, providing comfort and privacy during treatment.
- Specialist sensory equipment for children in outpatient areas across all three hospital sites.
- The refurbishment of Oxhey Ward, creating a dementia-friendly environment and a dedicated activities space for patients.
