On Tuesday 6 August we hosted a special ‘Thank You Tea’ at The Grove Hotel in Watford, bringing together colleagues and supporters to thank them for their kindness and generosity.
The event, generously funded by The Grove Hotel, was a celebration of the impact made possible by charitable support, and included speeches by West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Chairman, Phil Townsend, our charity’s patron, the Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, and our CEO, Alison Rosen.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of special edition pin badges by the Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire. These badges were awarded to dedicated staff members and community charity champions in recognition of their support and commitment to the charity. Guests were treated to a selection of sweet treats created by the talented pastry chefs from The Grove.
Alison Rosen, CEO of West Herts Hospitals Charity, said:
“We are incredibly grateful to our supporters, who go above and beyond raising vital funds for our wonderful hospitals. Today was about recognising their incredible efforts. Huge thanks to The Grove Hotel for hosting this special event.”
We are eternally thankful for the generosity and dedication of our supporters, who help us support excellent patient care at West Herts Hospitals.
