Inspiration from our 2026 heroes
If you need a bit of inspiration to hit that registration button, look no further than our incredible 2026 runners.
On Sunday 26 April 2026, Andrea Hone, Carers Lead Nurse & Deputy to Patient Experience Lead Nurse and Joe Barron, Deputy Head of Emergency Planning, Resilience and Response crossed the finish line in the capital, raising over £7,600 for our charity.
A full-circle moment
Their achievement marks a profound, full-circle moment. Both Andrea and Joe are West Herts staff members who previously required life-saving care from the very hospitals where they now work. You can read their story here.
The dedicated duo were recently celebrated at a special tea at our charity office on Thursday 7 May 2026, where they were pictured proudly wearing their London Marathon medals and receiving a certificate of achievement. You could be in their shoes next year!
