DESCRIPTION:Walk from Watford General to Ironbridge Lock, Cassiobury Park\nJoin us on Sunday 18 October 2026 for a scenic two mile-walk along the Grand Union Canal, starting at Watford General Hospital and finishing at Ironbridge Lock in Cassiobury Park. This event is a wonderful way to come together and support your local NHS hospitals.\nAll funds raised will directly support paediatric services across West Herts Hospitals. We ask that every participant aims for a £100 fundraising target to help us purchase state-of-the-art equipment, transform hospital spaces into welcoming environments for children, and provide vital care to our youngest patients and their families.\nStart Fundraising Today\nSet up your individual fundraising page by visiting our JustGiving Big Little Trail Campaign and clicking the ‘Start fundraising’ button to link your page directly to the official campaign.\nKey Details and Registration\n\n\nDate: Sunday 18 October 2026\n\nDeparture time from Watford General: 9.45 am (guided by a walk leader)\n\nDistance: Approximately two miles along canal towpaths and mixed terrain.\n\n\nAge: Participants of all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult at all times.\n\nFundraising Target: We encourage all participants to aim for a £100 sponsorship target.\n\nRegistration Fees:\n\n\nFamily Ticket (1 adult & 1 child age 0-9): £15.00\n\n\nFamily Ticket (2 adults & 2 children aged 0-9): £28.00\n\n\n\n\nHow Your Support Helps\nCore NHS funding provides essential medical care, but your fundraising enables us to go above and beyond standard resources.
